DUAN - A Beautiful Vision
Our first deployment, BeautiFi v1, equips beauty salons with ventilation and air-quality sensors, proves the clean-air work they do, and lets brands and ESG funds directly fund and retire that work with cryptographic proof. Built on the BNB stack (opBNB + BNB Greenfield), DUAN’s long-term goal is to become shared infrastructure for many mitigation verticals, from schools and homes to industry and water, so ESG capital can flow straight to the people and places actually reducing exposure, with evidence instead of stories.

The DUAN / BeautiFi whitepaper proposes the Decentralized Utility Accountability Network (DUAN), a utility-agnostic DePIN/RWA protocol that turns “offloaded pollution” (like toxic indoor air in salons) into measurable, verifiable, retirable on-chain assets. The first deployment, BeautiFi v1, targets indoor air quality in beauty salons using source-capture ventilation and sensors to generate Proof-of-Air (PoA) events; when independently verified, these mint the impact-linked token $BTFI on opBNB, with evidence stored on BNB Greenfield. Salons, verifiers, the treasury, and a capped team allocation share issuance, while brands, insurers, and ESG funds buy and burn $BTFI to retire specific tranches of work, receiving non-transferable Proof-of-Care (PoC) NFTs tied to durable data vaults, verifiable ESG (vESG) artifacts that can plug into reporting and AI tools. The paper outlines the architecture, tokenomics, security/MRV design, risks, and roadmap from this initial salon vertical to a broader ecosystem (air, water, heat, noise, health), with DUAN ultimately functioning as shared infrastructure for directing ESG capital programmatically to the people and places actually doing the mitigation, with cryptographic proof attached.
